Château Argadens has just 3 precious hectares for the production of its dry white – a rare wine of outstanding purity and freshness.
Planted on parcels which are sheltered from excessive heat, our Sauvignon vines ripen slowly with no risk of over-ripening or losing any of their aromatic freshness – even in the hottest years. The grapes are harvested carefully, in immediate proximity to the vatting room, where our technical equipment backs up our efforts to achieve and conserve freshness.
Moderate ageing (4 months in medium-toast oak barrels) puts the finishing touch to our creation and allows the minerality of Château Argadens White to be fully expressed.
“The result? A gossamer-light dry white wine with citrussy and fresh fruit aromas that explode on the nose and palate!”
